Effective Date: May 27, 2026
This Refund & Return Policy explains how refunds, returns, credits, cancellations, chargebacks, and payment-related issues may be handled on Postwego.
This Policy is issued by Postwego LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Postwego, also referred to as “Postwego,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
Postwego operates a global classified marketplace and location-based discovery platform through our website, mobile applications, listing tools, communication features, promotional services, paid packages, and related products and services collectively referred to as the “Services.”
Postwego LLC is registered in the United States as a Delaware limited liability company, but Postwego operates globally. Users may access the Services from different countries, states, provinces, territories, cities, and local jurisdictions.
This Policy is intended to explain Postwego’s general refund and return practices. Additional country-specific, region-specific, seller-specific, category-specific, payment-provider-specific, app-store-specific, or legally required refund terms may apply depending on your location, seller type, product type, service type, transaction method, and applicable law.
This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Postwego Terms & Conditions. By using Postwego, posting listings, communicating with users, buying or selling items, offering or requesting services, purchasing paid features, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
This Policy applies to two separate areas:
A. User-to-user marketplace activity
This includes sales, purchases, rentals, services, job-related interactions, real estate-related inquiries, and other arrangements made directly between users through Postwego.
B. Fees paid directly to Postwego
This includes fees for listing boosts, featured listings, advertising packages, seller packages, business packages, subscriptions, premium tools, listing fees, promotional credits, or other paid platform services offered by Postwego.
Unless Postwego is clearly identified as the seller of record or direct service provider, Postwego is not the seller, buyer, contractor, employer, landlord, broker, payment processor, escrow provider, shipping provider, customs broker, importer, exporter, insurer, or guarantor in user-to-user transactions.
Most transactions on Postwego are between users. This means refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, warranties, repairs, chargebacks, service corrections, delivery issues, and transaction disputes are generally handled directly between the buyer and seller, customer and provider, landlord and tenant, employer and applicant, or other participating users.
Postwego does not guarantee:
That a seller will accept a return.
That a buyer will receive a refund.
That a product will match its description.
That a service provider will complete work.
That a job, rental, real estate, or service opportunity will result in a final agreement.
That a user will honor any promise, price, return term, delivery date, refund commitment, warranty, or service obligation.
Users are responsible for reviewing listings carefully, asking questions, inspecting items, confirming terms, documenting agreements, using safe payment methods, and complying with all applicable laws.
Sellers may include their own return, refund, exchange, cancellation, warranty, or “final sale” terms in their listings.
If a seller clearly states return or refund terms in a listing or written communication, those terms generally control the user-to-user transaction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If no return or refund terms are stated, the transaction should be treated as final sale unless:
The buyer and seller agree otherwise in writing.
The item is materially not as described and the seller agrees to a remedy.
The seller is legally required to provide a refund, return, repair, replacement, cancellation right, warranty remedy, or other consumer remedy.
Postwego determines, in its sole discretion, that limited platform action is appropriate due to fraud, safety, technical error, or policy violations.
Messages exchanged through Postwego may be used as evidence of agreed return or refund terms.
Some sellers may be private individuals, while others may be businesses, traders, merchants, professional sellers, service providers, landlords, employers, or commercial users.
Business sellers, traders, and professional users are responsible for complying with all consumer protection, return, refund, cancellation, warranty, product safety, advertising, disclosure, tax, customs, and business laws that apply to them in the relevant country, state, province, city, or locality.
Nothing in this Policy limits any consumer rights, cancellation rights, warranty rights, return rights, refund rights, repair rights, replacement rights, shipping rights, or other protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.
If a seller accepts returns, or if a return is available under a seller’s stated policy, the buyer should generally request the return within the timeframe stated by the seller.
If the seller does not state a specific timeframe, Postwego recommends that users raise return or refund concerns within 7 days of:
Delivery date for shipped items.
Pickup date for local transactions.
Completion date for eligible services.
This 7-day period is a marketplace support guideline only. It does not reduce or replace any longer return, warranty, cancellation, or consumer protection period required by applicable law.
The seller may require that returned items be:
Unused.
In substantially the same condition received.
In original packaging, where applicable.
Returned with accessories, manuals, parts, certificates, tags, or related materials.
Supported by proof of purchase, payment confirmation, order information, or Postwego message history.
The seller may reject a return if the item has been used, damaged, altered, missing parts, returned late, or returned in a condition inconsistent with the seller’s stated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
For local pickup transactions, buyers should inspect the item before paying whenever possible.
Once a buyer inspects and accepts an item in person, the sale may be considered final unless:
The seller agreed in writing to allow returns.
The item was materially misrepresented.
The seller agrees to a refund or exchange.
Applicable law requires a different outcome.
Postwego strongly encourages users to meet in safe locations, confirm item condition, verify payment, and keep written records of the transaction.
For shipped items, buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing on shipping method, shipping cost, delivery timing, tracking, insurance, customs duties, import fees, and risk of loss.
Postwego is not responsible for:
Lost shipments.
Delayed shipments.
Damaged packages.
Carrier mistakes.
Incorrect addresses.
Customs delays.
Import or export restrictions.
Unpaid duties, taxes, or fees.
Cross-border delivery failures.
Disputes involving shipping providers.
If an item is not delivered, delivered late, damaged in transit, or materially different from the listing, the buyer should first contact the seller and, where applicable, the shipping provider or payment provider.
Postwego operates globally, but many transactions may remain local. If users choose to engage in cross-border transactions, they are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable customs, import, export, tax, product safety, consumer protection, shipping, sanctions, and payment rules.
Cross-border buyers may be responsible for duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, carrier fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees, and other local charges.
Postwego does not guarantee that an item can legally be imported, exported, shipped, received, used, resold, or returned in any particular country or region.
For service-related listings, refunds, rework, cancellations, missed appointments, deposits, partial payments, project disputes, and service quality issues are handled between the customer and service provider.
Service providers should clearly state their pricing, cancellation terms, deposit terms, refund terms, scope of work, timing, licensing status, insurance status, and any limitations before accepting work.
Customers should confirm the scope, pricing, schedule, licensing, insurance, permits, materials, and refund expectations before making payment.
Postwego is not responsible for workmanship, incomplete services, property damage, personal injury, permitting issues, licensing issues, missed appointments, pricing disputes, deposit disputes, or service-related refund disputes between users.
Postwego may allow users to post or browse real estate-related listings, including homes, apartments, rooms, land, commercial properties, rentals, leases, and property opportunities.
Postwego does not process or guarantee refunds for deposits, application fees, rent, earnest money, option fees, security deposits, broker fees, inspection fees, title fees, escrow funds, reservation fees, or other property-related payments between users.
Users are responsible for independently verifying property details, ownership, leasing terms, payment instructions, local laws, refund obligations, and legal requirements before making any payment.
Postwego may allow users to post or browse job listings, hiring opportunities, gig opportunities, contract work, temporary work, freelance opportunities, or employment-related content.
Postwego does not guarantee refunds, wages, compensation, deposits, recruiting fees, training fees, work equipment payments, application fees, visa-related payments, relocation payments, or employment-related payments between users.
Job seekers should be cautious of any job listing that requests upfront payment, sensitive financial information, unusual payment arrangements, or personal documents before legitimacy is verified.
Unless required by law or expressly agreed by the seller in writing, returns and refunds are generally not available for:
Digital products, downloads, files, templates, codes, or electronic goods once delivered, accessed, or used.
Gift cards, vouchers, credits, coupons, or prepaid value.
Customized, personalized, made-to-order, or special-order items.
Used personal care, beauty, hygiene, or health-related items.
Perishable goods, food, plants, flowers, or similar items.
Event tickets, reservations, bookings, or time-sensitive offers.
Items damaged after pickup or delivery.
Items sold “as is,” “final sale,” or with no-return terms.
Services already performed or partially performed.
Deposits marked non-refundable by the seller or provider.
Items restricted by health, safety, product, import, export, or local regulations.
Transactions involving prohibited items, fraud, policy violations, suspicious activity, or account abuse.
This list may be updated as Postwego expands its categories, countries, policies, and marketplace rules.
Fees paid directly to Postwego are separate from user-to-user transactions.
Postwego may charge fees for:
Listing boosts.
Featured listings.
Promoted listings.
Advertising packages.
Seller packages.
Business packages.
Subscriptions.
Listing fees.
Premium tools.
Platform credits.
Other paid services or promotional features.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, Postwego platform fees are generally non-refundable once the paid feature begins, activates, runs, is delivered, is partially delivered, or becomes available for use.
Paid features may increase visibility or access to certain tools, but Postwego does not guarantee views, clicks, leads, messages, sales, bookings, applications, hires, ranking position, or transaction results.
If Postwego offers subscriptions, seller packages, business packages, or recurring paid plans, billing terms will be shown at checkout or within the applicable plan description.
Unless otherwise stated:
Subscription fees are charged according to the selected billing cycle.
Users are responsible for canceling before renewal.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.
Partial billing-period refunds are not guaranteed.
Access to subscription features may continue until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
If a subscription is purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform, cancellation and refund requests may need to be handled through that platform.
Postwego may display fees, packages, or listings in different currencies depending on user location, selected country, payment provider, platform settings, or available features.
Currency conversion rates may change. Users may be charged foreign transaction fees, bank fees, card issuer fees, app store fees, payment processor fees, taxes, VAT, GST, duties, or other local charges.
Postwego is not responsible for charges imposed by banks, card issuers, payment processors, app stores, governments, customs authorities, or other third parties.
If a refund is approved, the refunded amount may differ from the original amount received in your local currency due to exchange rate changes, bank fees, card fees, payment provider rules, or third-party charges.
Postwego may approve a full or partial refund, credit, or account adjustment for fees paid directly to Postwego in limited circumstances, including:
A duplicate charge.
An incorrect billing amount.
A confirmed unauthorized transaction.
A paid feature failed to activate due to a verified technical issue caused by Postwego.
A paid feature was not delivered due to a verified system error caused by Postwego.
A refund is required by applicable law.
Postwego may offer a prorated refund or platform credit if a paid feature was partially delivered and then failed due to a verified Postwego-side technical issue.
Postwego may deny refund requests where the issue resulted from user error, listing removal due to policy violation, account suspension, prohibited content, fraud review, incorrect category selection, low marketplace engagement, lack of buyer interest, seller performance issues, local market conditions, or dissatisfaction with listing results.
Postwego may refuse refunds, credits, or account adjustments if a listing, promotion, subscription, package, or account is removed, restricted, suspended, or terminated due to:
Violation of Postwego Terms & Conditions.
Violation of Postwego policies.
Prohibited items or services.
Fraud, scams, spam, abuse, or deceptive activity.
Misleading listings.
Unsafe conduct.
Discriminatory content.
Illegal activity.
Account misuse.
Sanctions, trade compliance, or payment compliance concerns.
Attempts to bypass platform rules, restrictions, fees, country controls, payment rules, or moderation.
Postwego may also remove paid listings or promotions without refund if continuing to display the content would create legal, safety, fraud, reputational, technical, payment, sanctions, or marketplace integrity concerns.
For approved user-to-user physical item returns, return shipping terms should be handled between the buyer and seller.
Unless the seller agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise:
The buyer is generally responsible for return shipping costs.
The buyer should use a trackable shipping method.
The buyer is responsible for the item until it is received by the seller.
Original shipping, delivery, handling, pickup, installation, customs, duties, or convenience fees may be non-refundable.
If the return is due to seller error, such as the wrong item, materially inaccurate description, or damaged item supported by evidence, the buyer and seller should determine who is responsible for return shipping, replacement, repair, or refund costs.
Postwego is not responsible for lost return shipments, damaged packages, shipping delays, customs delays, carrier issues, delivery disputes, or import/export issues between users.
If Postwego approves a refund for a fee paid directly to Postwego, we will generally process the refund within 7 to 10 business days after approval.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on the payment method, bank, card issuer, app store, payment processor, country, currency, or third-party platform.
Refunds are usually issued to the original payment method unless Postwego determines another method is necessary or appropriate.
Postwego is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, app stores, foreign exchange systems, or third-party platforms.
If you purchased Postwego services through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, PayPal, or another third-party payment provider, your purchase may also be governed by that third party’s terms, refund rules, processing timelines, currency rules, tax rules, and dispute procedures.
Postwego may not be able to directly issue refunds for purchases controlled by third-party platforms. You may need to request a refund through the applicable app store or payment provider.
If you dispute a charge with your bank, card issuer, app store, or payment provider, Postwego may review your account, purchase history, listing activity, payment activity, and related information.
Postwego may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to paid features, listings, subscriptions, packages, promotions, or accounts while a chargeback or payment dispute is pending.
If a chargeback is determined to be improper, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with this Policy, Postwego may seek recovery of fees, costs, credits, promotional value, chargeback fees, or related losses to the extent permitted by law.
Postwego may, at its discretion, issue platform credits, promotional credits, listing credits, or account adjustments instead of a cash refund.
Credits may be subject to expiration dates, usage limits, category restrictions, country restrictions, currency restrictions, account restrictions, non-transferability, and other terms.
Credits have no cash value unless required by law and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside Postwego.
Postwego may deny refunds, restrict accounts, suspend payments, remove listings, cancel promotions, or take enforcement action if we suspect fraud, abuse, payment manipulation, chargeback abuse, fake transactions, stolen payment methods, account takeover, identity misuse, sanctions risk, prohibited activity, or other suspicious conduct.
Postwego may also share information with payment processors, app stores, law enforcement, financial institutions, regulators, service providers, or other parties where permitted or required by law.
Because Postwego LLC is a U.S.-registered company operating globally, refund processing, payment access, account access, paid features, and marketplace participation may be affected by sanctions, export controls, trade restrictions, anti-money laundering rules, anti-fraud rules, anti-bribery laws, anti-corruption laws, app store rules, payment processor requirements, or other legal obligations.
Postwego may refuse, delay, block, reverse, or restrict payments, credits, refunds, listings, or account activity where necessary for legal, sanctions, fraud prevention, payment compliance, or marketplace integrity reasons.
Postwego LLC is a Delaware limited liability company, but users may be located in different countries, states, provinces, territories, cities, and local jurisdictions.
Some jurisdictions may provide consumer rights, refund rights, cancellation rights, cooling-off rights, warranty rights, repair rights, replacement rights, shipping rights, digital content rights, unfair-practice protections, or other rights that cannot be waived by this Policy.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Users and sellers are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to their listings, products, services, locations, business activities, and transactions.
Postwego may provide country-specific, region-specific, category-specific, payment-specific, or seller-specific refund and return terms.
If additional terms apply to your use of Postwego, those terms are incorporated into this Policy by reference.
If there is a conflict between this general Policy and any required country-specific or region-specific refund rule, the country-specific or region-specific rule will apply to the extent required by law.
Postwego LLC is a Delaware limited liability company.
This Policy is governed by the governing law and dispute resolution provisions stated in the Postwego Terms & Conditions, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
